Lamondance makes available works from previous seasons through our new online platform LMD TV.
There have been many decisions following the COVID-19 pandemic. So in an effort to cultivate the performing arts and entertaining children and adults stranded at home as well as make the dance community known by the population, Lamondance will make available works from previews seasons through our online platform LMD TV, for FREE!.
"A community without the arts is a community without a soul, and the world is full of amazing souls creating art every day, we need to stay together, in this challenging times,” said Davi Rodrigues, Artistic Director of Lamondance.
Our first work will be “Ubuntu - I Am Because We Are” originally created for Lamondance season 5, and remounted for season 9, Ubuntu is a powerful creation choreographed by our Artistic Director Davi Rodrigues.

Ubuntu is about the balance of life and the conflicts that arise between good and evil. These forces ultimately cannot exist without the other and are being put on a scale to maintain the balance of the universe. The bond of energy is broken, allowing light to reach all places.

With the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, we are all living in an unstable and challenging moment. For now, it's time for prevention and protection. Since it's recommended to stay in, we are bringing Lamondance to you! It is now possible to watch the full length of one of our creations, available on our Website through our new link LMD TV.
I have faith that we are going to rise from this situation stronger after this storm passes. Together as community members, we will have to roll up our sleeves and all work together. We are going to make available some of our works every week to make sure that even at home, our community will have access to the Arts.
Our activities in the studio, training, and creating art are on pause, so is the rest of the world, but we are working behind the scenes preparing a brighter future for all of us.
It’s together that we’ll come out stronger and get back on our feet in a few weeks.
