Andrea Canjura

Andrea Canjura Pacheco is originally from Pitt Meadows, BC, where she began dancing at a young age. She first fell in love with ballet and tap before discovering her passion for contemporary dance.

After graduating high school, Andrea moved to Toronto, ON, to study at George Brown College’s Dance program in partnership with Ballet Jörgen. During her training, she had the opportunity to work with renowned artists such as Hanna Kiel, Amanda Davis, and Ryan Lee. She also performed in ProArteDanza’s summer intensive show under the direction of Roberto Campanella, Robert Glumbek, and Johanna Bergfelt.

Andrea continued her development with Unapologetic Dance Company, training and performing in their full-length productions Sentience and Sonder. She has also gotten the opportunity to choreograph for their show In Their Time II.

Andrea is thrilled to be back at LamonDance this season and looks forward to all the experiences and opportunities ahead.
