About the Show

When Alice’s family forbids her from celebrating the winter holidays, a secret gift and an anxious White Rabbit spark an extraordinary journey.

Drawn into a frozen, magical realm where the Queen of Hearts has banned all festive cheer, Alice and her brother find themselves in a race to save Winterland.

From multiplying bunnies and a kind-hearted Mad Hatter to the mysterious Caterpillar, Alice must use the warmth of her own holiday spirit to thaw frozen hearts and bring joy back to the kingdom.

Alice in Winterland is a dazzling contemporary dance production about connection, forgiveness, and the timeless magic of love.

Innovation Through Art & Education

Pioneering the Intersection of Creativity and Progress

For over 18 years, the mission of Lamondance Arts Society has been to champion artistic excellence through the creation, production, and performance of contemporary dance. We fulfill this mandate by educating, supporting, and challenging our artists to take creative risks—contributing to a vibrant cultural landscape locally, provincially, and internationally through professional training, mainstage productions, and meaningful community exchange.

At Lamondance, we believe in fostering artistic passion, imagination, and a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts. Attending a live theatre production has a profound impact on young minds, allowing students to witness the magic of non-verbal storytelling unfolding right before their eyes.

A 5-Year Tradition of Inspiring Young Audiences

Connecting students with the power of live theatre is central to our values. Building on the five-year success of our signature winter production, A Winter's Twist, Lamondance has welcomed thousands of students and educators across North Vancouver and Abbotsford into the theatre. We are thrilled to continue this cherished holiday tradition with our brand-new production, Alice in Winterland.
