Adonia Martineau, originally from Canada, began her dance journey in a small ski town nestled in the mountains of British Columbia. From 2013 to 2023, she trained after school at the local dance studio, Dance Umbrella Nelson, before moving abroad to pursue dance professionally. Adonia completed her final year of professional training in June 2026 when she received her Bachelor's degree from Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (Zurich, Switzerland). Her first two years of training took place on campus, and here final year involved an internship in Ballet Graz, Austria.

Adonia is looking forward to learning as much as during her time in Lamondance and she is excited to share her love for dance with the Canadian community. She is a member of the Bridge Program for the 2026/27 season.
