The foundation of our three year post secondary dance program is inspired by the daily work of a professional dance company. The dancers will navigate learning both new and past repertoire alongside daily training classes, providing a rigorous curriculum that is well balanced with contemporary and classical training. Throughout the year, dancers will have the opportunity to work with current choreographic voices. We aim to provide guest workshops frequently which diversifies the training and allows dancers to build professional connections within the community. Dancers will be presented with an opportunity to perform locally and the possibility of internationally, once it is safe to do so.

“Our dancers are known as being passionate and well rounded; they have the willingness to explore the unknown. We strive to cultivate and nurture each individual, so they can explore their potential at the highest calibre. To help fulfil this commitment LMD aims to keep the number of dancers attending each season low, to ensure they get the attention necessary to help them achieve their personal goals. Our graduates leave the program with an openness to challenges and possibilities that facilitate the evolution of contemporary dance and a better understanding of who they are as 21st-century dance artist". - Davi Rodrigues, Artist Director
